Government deploys soldiers in Harare residential areas .Government has deployed soldiers in residential areas to maintain peace and order ahead of SADC summit which is hosted by Zimbabwe.
Police yesterday said they will send law agents to suburbs to assure the public of Police Visibility.
Heavy presence of Police and soldiers in Chitungwiza, left the residents in shock.
Soldiers and police were heavily armed with batons , guns , guns , water canons, motorized military gear living the residents in shock and afraid.
Mike Mapera said that most bars and shops were closed yesterday and people are staying indoors in fear of the police and soldiers.
National police spokesperson commissioner Paul Nyathi said the deployments were ormal and other places will also receive the same treatment.
