Zimbabwean Comedienne Madam Boss shines at BET
The Black Entertainment Television, branches from Paramount and CBS was created to recognize talented Black people and they give awards to Black artists internationally, annually.This year's BET awards giving ceremony was held in Los Angeles, California with a lot of African artists and promoters in attendance. In Zimbabwe the invitation was extended to comedianne and influencer Tarisai Tyra Chikocho popularly known as Madam Boss.
Madam Boss and Miss Shally, a South Africa based Zimbabwean promoter were the only Zimbabweans in attendance. Madam Boss was not a nominee but a an esteemed guest following her Africa Influencer title by E. Entertainment.
Madam Boss has since been posting pictures from the event where she evidently connected with a lot of big stars including Tyla, Tinashe and Makhadzi.
South Africa's Tyla walked away with two awards and Makhadzi with one. Zimbabweans have been cheering on Madam Boss since the day she departed and most are wishing for more lucrative deals for her.
