    Dr James Makamba teaches youth about Resilience

    Zimbabweean businessman and philanthropist Dr James Makamba has pledged to give online life lessons to young people using social media.  As a successful businessman in various trades including telecommunications, media and real estate , Dr Makamba is well versed in the current business tools. 

    On 8 July Dr Makamba posted the message below on his Facebook page and attracted attention of many.

    As we start this new week, and officially in the second half of 2024 let us focus on the importance of progress and the power of resilience. Remember, it is not about perfection but about making consistent efforts and learning from each step of the journey.

     1. Embrace Challenges: Each challenge you face is an opportunity to grow. Embrace them with a positive mindset and see them as stepping stones to your success.

     2. Stay Flexible: Life is unpredictable. The ability to adapt and remain flexible in the face of change is a key aspect of resilience. Stay open to new paths and opportunities.

     3. Build a Support System: Surround yourself with positive, supportive people who uplift you and believe in your potential. Together, we are stronger.

     4. Practice Self-Care: Taking care of your mental, emotional, and physical health is crucial. Regular self-care routines help you stay strong and prepared to face any obstacles.

     5. Learn from Setbacks: Every setback is a lesson in disguise. Reflect on what went wrong, learn from it, and use that knowledge to make better decisions in the future.
