Man Arrested for Allegedly Murdering Mother with Slasher
A 32-year-old man, Michael Mandigo, has been arrested by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) for allegedly murdering his mother, Jenia Mandigo, 53, at their residence in Sandton Park, Westgate, Harare, on February 8, 2025.
Mandigo is accused of attacking his mother with a slasher, causing severe head injuries. The police are still trying to determine the motive behind the attack. After finding the victim's body, authorities launched an investigation to gather more information about the incident.
The ZRP has not released further details about the case, as the investigation is ongoing.
