Young girls are affected, often tasked
with fetching water from distant
boreholes, carrying heavy buckets on
their heads. This not only affects their
education and future prospects but also
puts them at risk of physical harm and
exploitation.

toll on young girls of school going age.

see our children suffer from waterborne
diseases and exploitation due to this
crisis. Young girls are the most affected
We need clean water for our children's
future, and we need it now," she said.
