Zimbabwe Recieves Food Donations From China

In his post on Facebook President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa said that " This morning at State House, I was honoured to
receive vital food assistance from His Excellency
Ambassador Zhou Ding of China. This generous
contribution will significantly aid our
drought-affected communities, highlighting the strong partnership between Zimbabwe and China.I extend my heartfelt thanks to Ambassador Zhou
Ding and the Chinese government for their
continued support.
On 22 August China strengthened her relationship with Zimbabwe by giving it 1 760 metric tonnes of rice.
Chinese Ambassador Zhou Ding handed the rice to Zimbabwean president who said that " each time we have this problem of food insecurity, China has always come to our rescue ".
The rice will be given to vulnerable people and those who are hugely affected by drought and needs immediate support.
