Road Accidents at Peak in Rusape
A kombi and a Honda Fit were involved in an accident yesterday, leaving the kombi driver dead.
The victims were transported to Marondera General Hospital, where the kombi driver was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The Honda Fit driver is out of danger and recovering at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, where he is admitted.
According to the ZRP, the accident happened at the exact same spot where schoolchildren from St. Mary's died last week.
The students were on their way to school to collect their results. Among them, Denzel attained 6 As, 3 Bs, and a C.
Parents expressed concern, stating, "It is now difficult to reveal our children's results, as jealous individuals may end up harming these innocent souls."
Today, another kombi transporting schoolchildren was involved in an accident while bringing children home from school.
The accident occurred just after Tsindi Secondary School along the Wedza-Goto Road.
Pastor Chimedza lost control of the vehicle while transporting the children.
Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, but some children were taken to Rusape General Hospital for medical attention.
