ZIMBABWE POLICE RECEIVE NEW ALL-TERRAIN MOTORCYCLES TO BOOST PATROLS
Zimbabwe Republic Police Commissioner-General Stephen Mutamba has commissioned a new fleet of all-purpose motorcycles to strengthen law enforcement operations countrywide.
The bikes are intended for deployment in cities, rural areas, and traffic units. Police say the addition will help officers reach incident scenes faster, improve crime response, and support both routine and targeted patrols.
Authorities noted the motorcycles will also be used to address dangerous and reckless driving on Zimbabwe’s roads.
Officials expect the terrain-capable vehicles to improve access to locations that standard police vehicles struggle to reach.
The rollout is part of broader efforts to enhance ZRP mobility and expand police coverage across urban and rural communities.
