Harare, Zimbabwe — A new dispute has emerged involving Zimbabwean businessman Sir Wicknell, as his ex-wife, Sonja, publicly contested the ownership of a private jet recently associated with his new wife, Lulu.
In a statement circulating on social media, Sonja alleged that the aircraft in question was not a personal gift, as previously portrayed, but rather a company asset that she co-owned with Sir Wicknell during their marriage. She claims that the jet was rebranded under Lulu’s name in November, shortly after she initiated divorce proceedings.
The allegations come amid growing public attention surrounding Sir Wicknell’s personal life and recent online posts, in which he dismissed rumors suggesting a possible reconciliation with his ex-wife. Sonja, however, has challenged this narrative, raising questions about his ongoing legal actions against her.
“If he didn’t want me, why does he keep taking me to court instead of settling the issue once and for all?” she said.
Sonja further indicated that she intends to release additional evidence, including documents and personal accounts, to support her claims. This has heightened anticipation around the unfolding dispute, which appears to involve both personal and business-related matters.
Efforts to obtain a response from Sir Wicknell or his representatives were unsuccessful at the time of publication.
