Beaten by logs while fetching firewood.
A 12 year old girl from Gutuza village in Rusape whose name is withheld per the mothers request was beaten by firewood which she had fetched from someone's Gumtree plantation on Wednesday last week.
Speaking go this publication. Eliza Makaure said that the girl from next door come and took her daughter to fetch firewood in their family gumtrees plantation , after fetching when they are about to tie their bundles, the logs started to beat up the daughter living her swollen.
The girl left the firewood behind and went home empty-handed and severely traumatized by this mysterious event. The mother confirmed how she had nightmares and mental breakdowns. The girl had visible marks on her skin to support her story.
Mrs Makaure said that the girl spent 3 sleepless nights being beaten and she was taken to Marange Bocha were there church originates and was healed by their prophets .
The owner of the gumtree plantation, said noone gave her daughter permission to fetch firewood in his plantation therefore he cant be responsible.
Mr Makoni the owner of the plantation refused to give a statement and told Khanyisile news to work with any side that sells.
It's not the first time these kind of mysteries happen in Makoni district and residents have accepted that some people have spiritual protection.
